Internet Service Provider Acquisition

 01 September 1997   News Release

TRAVERSE CITY, MI - Gerald E. Milatz, Vice President of Operations, Computer Related Technologies & Associates, Inc. announced today the acquisition of Pointing The Way, a Northwestern Michigan internet service provider. "The purchase of Pointing the Way provides CRT with resources to better meet the needs of its business clientele while opening a door to customers we have not previously worked with: the home computer and internet user. With the increased utilization and development of the internet as a medium and conduit for communication, this move will provide clients greater access and connectivity for CRT's existing database management and communication products," commented Milatz.

"Furthermore," Milatz stated, "CRT will be better equipped to address the total information and communication systems needs of its customers, better equipped to provide them the convenience of one-stop shopping if you will."

As a result of this acquisition, Pointing The Way's name will be changed to Infinite Communications, Inc. and become a wholly owned subsidiary of CRT & Associates, Inc. Infinite Communications will maintain the usual stable of web products and services available to both personal and commercial clients: site hosting and connectivity, e-mail accounts, and web-site design. These services will be augmented with yet to be announced additional products.

CRT & Associates, Inc., a privately held company, with offices in Dollar Bay and Traverse City, MI, specializes in providing a variety of advanced computer and process management solutions to businesses throughout the nation's Midwestern and Western states.
